From Black Pioneers of the West to Wakanda Forever: Afrofuturism and Imagining Black Futures

The #beyondjuneteenth committee at the University of Arizona invited me to discuss Black Pioneers as part of a panel on Black history and Black futures. It was such a joy to share some of my preliminary manuscript research with this audience and contribute to an ongoing celebration of Black life in Arizona.
